Storybook Seekers
Spring 2024
Instructed by Gin Chen
Problem: How can we get people to think of zoos as a place for education, learning, and positive inspiration again after their public perception has taken a turn for the worse?
Solution: A collaborative campaign series featuring events by the Wildlife Conservation Society and Barnes & Noble to get kids excited and inspired by the work that zoos do, while encouraging them to read along the way.
Skills Utilized; Art Direction, Creative Strategy

People are encouraged to scan the QR code found on the posters to sign up for a storytime event at their nearest Barnes & Noble to help find out where their favorite characters have disappeared to.

At these themed storytime events, the kids will be read a new version of the books they know and love, with the exception of the animal characters, leading the readers to the next step in locating their beloved characters.

On National Endangered Species Day, kids are encouraged to go one of the WCS Parks to help find their favorite characters by visiting and learning about the animals featured at the parks and acquiring themed stamps to receive prizes.
